A ‘T.J Hooker’ Movie?

According to Variety, the 1980s Aaron Spelling produced CBS series will become a major movie. David Foster, Ryan Heppe and Rick Husky (who created the original show) will produce the action comedy. Heppe says "the series was the poster child for cop TV shows in the 1980s with great stunts, so we think there's a fun movie to be made from it." No actors for the movie are set yet; however Chuck Russell (The Mask, The Scorpion King) is in negotiations to direct with Brent Maddock and S.S Wilson writing. The two have written *batteries not included with Brad Bird and Wild Wild West among others.
