Great New Teaser Trailer for ‘Despicable Me’

I've been a Steve Carell fan since everyone else found him hiding on The Daily Show. He's done somesmart stuff (The Office, The 40-Year-Old Virgin) along with some dumb stuff (Evan Almighty, Get Smart), and his new movie Despicable Me looks like it'll go on the smart list. Sure it's animated and Pixar or DreamWorks aren't behind it; it's Universal which is known for live-action comedy mostly, not animation. But watch this new teaser trailer below from Cinema Blend and join in on the crowd who can't wait to see this. Despicable Me has a great storyline (a world class thief who attempts to steal the moon), new directors (Pierre Coffin, Chris Renaud and Sergio Pablos, all first-time filmmakers) and pretty cool writers, Ken Daurio and Cinco Paul (Horton Hears a Who!, The Santa Clause 2). Despicable Me stars Ken Jeong (the Chinese gangster in The Hangover), Jason Segel, Miranda Cosgrove (iCarly, Drake and Josh), Danny McBride, Will Arnett, Russell Brand, Kristen Wiig and Julie Andrews.

Despicable Me comes out July 9th, 2010.
