It's back on again. Variety says that Steven Soderbergh, who wanted to make a movie based on the Michael Lewis novel of the same title, is now off of Moneyball, but Brad Pitt is still starring. Also, word is that Steve Zaillian's screenplay had too many flaws, so Aaron Sorkin (The West Wing) will rewrite it. No news yet on who's filming this thing, but it sucks that Soderbergh (an awesome director) isn't doing Moneyball after how hard he fought Sony to convince them to make it.
