Cooper Isn’t the Green Lantern, Reynolds Is

Warner Bros. had the choice of actors to play the Green Lantern narrowed down to three: Bradley Cooper, Justin Timberlake and Ryan Reynolds. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ryan Reynolds will portray the superhero, aka Hal Jordan. I think that Bradley Cooper should've gotten his own franchise, personally. He's a great actor and Reynolds is already going to have his own superhero series! Remember when we were all sugared up and spazzing out to see him play Deadpool in Origins, the spin-off of a spin-off of X-Men Origins: Wolverine? Whatever, it might be good with Reynolds. But two franchises? Martin Campbell (Casino Royale) is set to direct with Greg Berlanti (Eli Stone, Dawson's Creek), Michael Green (Kings, Heroes) and Marc Guggenheim (Origins video game) spawning the screenplay.

The Green Lantern is set to come out June 17^th, 2011.
