‘Hot Tub Time Machine’ Hires a Counterpart Over 20 Years Younger

This is kind of creepy-Hot Tub Time Machine stars John Cusack, who's 42 years old. He travels back in time to get the one that slipped away: his high school sweetheart.

The girl will be played by Lyndsy Fonseca. Fonseca has starred in How I Met Your Mother, Desperate Housewives even The Young and the Restless. A little bit weird, sure, but the movie does have time-travel on their side, so…I don't know.

Hot Tub Time Machine is about three 30 or 40 something year-old guys who go back in time using a Jacuzzi. The Hollywood Reporter says that the movie is already filming, so Fonseca will have to start on it immediately. She just finished Kick-Ass with Nicolas Cage and the Holocaust true story Fort McCoy, both due out sometime this year.

The title already has me sold. Plus the director is Steve Pink (Accepted) and the screenplay is done by the guys that wrote Yes Man. But the title, HA!
