Bazooka Joe Pops Out a Movie

Who knew bubble gum could be so entertaining without the 'Bazooka Joe' product? A piece of cotton-candy flavored deliciousness with a comic that we've seen a million and one times before bit it's still funny!

Michael Eisner took over the Topps Co. (now the Tornante Co.) a while ago and is now apparently turning the ever-aging baseball card/comic series into a feature film. Yup, you heard me right. A Bazooka Joe movie. I'm thinking this will bomb big time.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Eisner and his company have got newcomer Mark Hammer writing. Aren't we supposed to be cutting back? Can't we cut back from bad movies?
