Angelina Jolie to Play Ava Lord in ‘Sin City 2’?

Rumors are stirring once again-Angelina Jolie to play Ava Lord in Frank Miller's sequel to Sin City? The rumors started back in December of 2006 as to Jolie playing Ava, Dwight McCarthy's (Clive Owen) ex-lover who manipulates men with her good looks and supposed innocence. And now they're back, more serious than ever.
According to a rather high-profile producer friend, Angelina Jolie is now in "serious talks" – as opposed to merely being mentioned as a possibility, or having a casual coffee with the filmmakers to suss out her interest – to star in director Robert Rodriguez's "Sin City 2."

I think Angelina Jolie would be a fine addition to the Sin City 2 cast, and hope the rumors aren't just that. In the first, we had hotties Jessica Alba, Alexis Bledel, Brittany Murphy, Rosario Dawson-all of which are confirmed for the sequel. Do I want Angelina Jolie to join them? Well, yes, but now fans are saying that they would prefer Megan Fox or Eva Mendes (who was most recently in another Frank Miller movie, The Spirit). Others are saying "As long as (Mickey) Rourke is Marv (in this film), I'm sold." I'm saying, pick any one. I was already sold at the end of the first movie.

Dimension Films has not yet set a start date for the Robert Rodriguez/Frank Miller action flick. I'll be following it until its release. I can't wait, Sin City was awesome!
